In The Mood (For Blues)

Passion creates art from the heart
(accept no less)
to be precise
it takes precision to make fakes
and yes
(tho' Graeme Edge was sitting when playing)
it's a standing joke
fall winter spring and summer
The Moody Blues
comprised four musicians
and a drummer
but that has always been the style
and dates back to BIG band ways
as bands (come and) go
with
Mike Pinder Ray Thomas and Clint Warwick
BIG they were
(and will always stay)
in their original
(pre-Justin Hayward)
heyday
as 'only' a drummer too
I can relate
and even commiserate
for Graeme was expected
altho' it's quite bizarre
to play second fiddle
(on drums)
to an electric lead guitar
